One of the goals of this trip was to ride the Vietnamese railway. Ideally, I wanted to ride from Saigon to Hanoi, but I didn’t have enough time, so it ended up being a short trip on the Vietnamese railway. I started looking for tickets around March, but couldn’t book them yet. Then, at the end of April, I suddenly remembered and checked the ticket website, and thankfully, tickets were available for booking! The waiting room was packed with people, and the seats available for short distances were almost completely sold out. The train itself was also extremely crowded. At a local eatery in front of Bien Hoa station, I ordered braised pork (Thịt lợn kho).
