Returning to Japan from Vietnam on First Day of Relaxed Border Controls (June 1, 2022) with No Entry Test

From June 1, 2022, entry restrictions into Japan were further eased.

Coincidentally, I was scheduled to return to Japan on that day, so I decided to check just how much the restrictions had been eased. As a result, there was no inspection upon arrival, and I was able to enter the country, collect my luggage, and pass through customs within 19 minutes of disembarking. I had received three doses of the vaccine and obtained a negative COVID-19 certificate in the Japanese format locally. This is just my experience under my specific circumstances. Please be aware that entry restrictions may vary depending on individual circumstances. 😌
