Recently, Itoigawa has been getting a bit of buzz thanks to the TV show “Buratamori” and the Oito Line, and there’s an amazing char siu ramen shop there. If you’re craving a hearty pork meal, this place’s char siu ramen will make you happy. Not only is the char siu fantastic, but the menu is also extensive and the portions are huge! (laughs) They make the char siu fresh every day, regardless of profit, because they want their customers to leave feeling completely satisfied. Takeout of just the char siu is also very popular. If you can’t finish it all, you can take the rest home. It’s also only about a 5-minute walk from the newly opened Echigo Tokimeki Railway’s Echigo Oshiage Hisui Kaigan Station, so train enthusiasts will likely enjoy it too.
