【Technical Notes & Production Behind-the-Scenes】

This project is a cinematic visual piece created over a span of approximately one year, capturing the changing faces of the four seasons.

■ Equipment & Seasonal Shooting Strategy
To maximize visual quality across different environments, two generations of mini drones were strategically deployed:

• Winter & Spring: Shot with DJI Mini 4 Pro, leveraging its reliable obstacle sensing and color profiles in stable weather.
• Summer & Autumn: Shot with DJI Mini 5 Pro, utilizing its upgraded imaging sensor and enhanced dynamic range to capture rich greenery and vivid autumn foliage.

■ Post-Production & Editing
The entire project was cataloged, structured, and edited using DaVinci Resolve. Micro-adjustments were made to the timeline to ensure seamless pacing, while advanced color grading was applied to unify the distinct lighting and atmospheric contrasts of all four seasons into a cohesive visual journey.

While AI-generated videos are rapidly on the rise, I believe that real-world filming still holds a distinct advantage when it comes to intricate visual expressions, such as capturing light and the subtle transitions of the seasons.
