This is a confectionery shop located on the banks of the Umikawa River in Itoigawa City.
It’s a little hard to find as it’s set back slightly from the main street.
As I approached the entrance, I could already smell the sweet aroma of eggs before even entering the shop.
Since the shop is run by an egg supplier, the store is filled with many sweets made with eggs.
On this day, I tried the “Egg Tart” and “Shiawase no Tamago” (Egg of Happiness), and upon looking at the ingredients, I noticed that only natural ingredients were used. When I tasted them, the natural flavor of the eggs spread throughout my mouth.
I didn’t check the other products, but it’s clear that they pay attention to the ingredients.
