I had homemade hand-kneaded soba noodles and bear stew at Otari Meisankan, located about a 5-minute walk from Minami-Otari Station on the Oito Line. The soba noodles were completely handmade, with a firm texture and rich flavor. The bear stew was full of vegetables and had a wild, rustic taste. They also sell bear furs in the shop.
