This UNESCO Global Geopark allows visitors to observe the interior of an underwater volcano that formed 3 million years ago. It was a little too early for the autumn foliage, so we didn’t see any fiery red leaves, but the weather was fine and there was no wind, making for a comfortable photo shoot. I would like to thank the park manager and the hikers for their cooperation, which allowed me to enjoy and photograph the wonderful scenery.
