The Kamiji district in Itoigawa City, located on the border with Toyama Prefecture, is known as the “Village of the Mountain Witch” and retains historical sites, but it was once the entrance to a mountain path used to bypass the treacherous Oyashirazu Pass. There are multiple routes to the settlement, but in winter, I have only confirmed the route shown in the video. On this route, if you are coming from Toyama Prefecture, you will enter Niigata Prefecture directly, but if you are coming from Niigata Prefecture, you will enter Toyama Prefecture first and then return to Niigata Prefecture.
