“Cafe R8” opened on March 10, 2024 at “Arimagawa Station” on the “Echigo Tokimeki Railway, Nihonkai Hisui Line” that runs along the coast of Niigata Prefecture.

You can enjoy it in a variety of situations, such as tea time or lunch while admiring the seasonal ocean views at the cafe attached to the retro station building, or bar time while watching the sunset over the Sea of Japan from the terrace seats.

It’s directly connected to the station, so it’s a great place to visit by train and wait for the next train.
